1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files placed on your device by a website. They help the site remember preferences, keep you logged in and gather anonymous usage statistics. We use a deliberately small set of cookies and similar storage on earthluxetravel.com.
2. Cookies we use
Strictly necessary (cannot be disabled)
- el_guest_notice_v2 (local storage) — remembers that you have acknowledged this cookie notice so we don't re-show it on every visit. Stored for 365 days.
- Session cookie (HTTP only) — issued by the web server for load balancing; expires when you close the browser.
Functional (off by default if your region requires consent)
- We currently operate no marketing, analytics, personalisation or advertising cookies on earthluxetravel.com. Contact-form submissions are routed via FormSubmit.co which may set its own strictly-necessary session cookie while the form is being processed.
3. Similar storage
We use the browser's localStorage only for the cookie-notice acknowledgement described above. We do not use IndexedDB, service workers for tracking or pixel beacons.
4. Third-party embeds
We load Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com, fonts.gstatic.com) for typography only; per Google's policy this request does not set cookies. We do not load social-media pixels, behavioural-advertising code, or cross-site tracking libraries.
5. How to control cookies
- Most browsers allow you to view, manage and delete cookies (look under Settings > Privacy or History > Clear data).
- If you delete
el_guest_notice_v2from local storage, the cookie notice will appear again on your next visit. - You can use private / incognito mode to visit without persistent cookies at all; functionality on this site is not reduced.
6. Do Not Track & Global Privacy Control
Because we do not operate cross-site tracking or advertising cookies, honouring these signals is automatic: we do not track.
